Tension and pole tents are the most traditional and the most popular style of wedding tent in the rental industry. They have aluminum center poles, are rectangular in shape, and must be staked into the ground 6’ away from the side of the tent. They can accommodate any style of sidewall, flooring or lighting. We recommend lighting for both day & night functions as the fabric of these tents is light blocking. These are great for all events, big & small, private & commercial, from weddings to bar mitzvahs to backyard birthday parties.

Tension tents & pole tents look exactly the same, but tension tents are much stronger and can handle heavier weather. Generally speaking, tension tents are 30x45 or larger and pole tents are 20x20-30x30
